Colourless glass. The underside of the base is decorated with an olive-cut rim that goes round the polished pontil mark. Between two triangular bordures on the top side are nine orgnaments, each in a C-like shape. The base of the bowl is 10 times faceted and is finished at the bottom with a stone-cut bordure. The underside of the lip rim follows a saddlecloth bordure. There is a cartouche of foliage and ribbons on the front. Below a stylised crown is the coat of arms of Lord Carl zu Stolberg-Gedern, executed in a matte and blank cut. Opposite the coat of arms, a mythological creature sits on a saddlecloth under a canopy, holding a palm branch and a laurel leaf. To the left and right are small scenes of hunters hunting deer in a tree-covered setting. Among the rich foliage and ribbon decoration are fantastic birds, floral garlands and small equestrian scenes. Height 25 cm
