A characteristic feature of this style of engraving is the drawing of the horse's body with dense, fine lines to indicate horsehair. We can observe it as well in the animal hair, for example, in the small stag on the goblet with Atlanta and Hippomenes in the Ernesto Wolf collection, No. 109.
